PHOTOGRAPHY AT HIDDEN PINES
We encourage our customers to snap pictures of their experience at Hidden Pines to remember this special event. We offer several photo opportunity areas for this purpose. We also receive requests from professional and amateur photographers wishing to book our property for family holiday photo sessions. We allow these sessions at the farm at certain times keeping in mind that our first priority is providing a great experience for our choose and cut tree customers. |
Photography Policies-
Christmas Season
1. Sessions must be scheduled at least five days in advance. After your request is reviewed, a staff member will reach out to coordinate payment (we take credit, cash, or check)
2. Safety is our priority. Therefore, all photographers must complete and return to Hidden Pines a consent form before entering the Farm. Photographers who fail to submit this form by the start of their session(s) must reschedule. ***See Release Form file below.***
3. Our parking lot is available to all photographers and their clients. Unfortunately, vehicles are not allowed onto the farm past the parking lot areas.
4. All visitors to Hidden Pines must leave the Farm in good condition, cleaning up after pets and disposing of trash and recyclables.
5. All photography sessions must be concluded by 5:00 p.m. on the date requested.
6. No more than two photographers will be allowed on the property at any one time.
7. Keep in mind that this is a working Christmas Tree Farm and customers may be in the fields while you are conducting your session. We cannot guarantee a location that is free from possible traffic.
Black Out Dates
We encourage all photographers to book the farm before we open for the season on November 9. As farm staff will be busy helping families find the perfect Christmas tree, most dates after November 9 will be blacked out as we are extremely busy on those dates. Requests after November 9 will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
Absolutely NO photography sessions will be considered for the following days.

Rates
A “session” is up to 60 minutes with a single client (such as one family, one couple, and so on).
$50.00 per session
$120.00 per day (unlimited sessions during daylight hours only).
Full day booking does not include the tractors or truck on our normal operating days. When more than one photographer has booked the farm photographers agree to share the use of these vehicles with the other photographer.

New for 2024 is our summer/fall photography season which runs from August 1 until October 15, 2024.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. PURCHASE a seasonal pass. Send your purchase request and a signed release form (found below) via email to : [email protected].
2. SCHEDULE as many photography sessions with as many clients as you wish during the season pass period.
3. BOOK YOUR TIME ON THE FARM – We request a 24 hour notice of each of your intended visits – just text us at 419-355-3650 to let us know when you will be on the farm.
4. If clients cancel, or weather changes your plans, no big deal, just schedule another time at any time until the end of the season.
5. Cost of the season pass is $200. Once you notify us of your intent to purchase a pass we will invoice you through Square and you may make your payment with credit card or mail us a check. Payment is required prior to your first session on the farm.

Additional Information & Terms
- Please respect the farm and pick up any trash.
- Wear clothing appropriate for a rugged farm environment, including closed-toe shoes.
- Fake snow is not allowed as it makes a mess and does not disintegrate.
- Be aware of insects, thorns, uneven ground, mud and other natural threats.
- Use care and caution around trees and landscaping.
- Vehicles (except those provided by Hidden Pines) are NOT allowed beyond the parking lot under any circumstances.
- All props, furniture, etc. must be carried to your photoshoot location. We recommend bringing a wagon to transport props and other items. We can help with props if requested in advance. Please remove all props before your departure.
- Make sure your clients have the information they need to find the farm ahead of time. We advise meeting your clients in the parking area.
- No smoking or vaping on the property.
- Dogs are permitted and must remain on leash at all times. Please pick up after your pets.
- If photos are posted online or on social media sites, Hidden Pines Christmas Tree Farm requests a mention or tag of our location.
- Photographer and photographer’s clients will hold Hidden Pines Christmas Tree farm harmless from any injuries or damages sustained during their time on the property. Photographers will complete the release form found below.
